  Source of birth and death: Grave stone at Barlborough - died 19/8/1865 aged 64. Grave stone erected by Mr. de Rhodes in recognition of 25 years service. Buried 22/08/1865 (church register). May have a brother Thomas (age 72 in 1861), a grocer, living at Barlborough with his wife Catherine aged 63 in 1861 (Thomas Lenthall and Catherine Unwin married 01/12/1825 at Barlborough) (Catherine baptised 24/09/1797 at Barlborough). Parents probably George Lenthall, born 1763/4, and Mary ?, born 1767/8 (1841 census, living at Barlborough). Both were born in Derbyshire (Mary at Harthill, Yorkshire according to 1851 census). Living with them were Robert, born 1804/5 and Elizabeth, born 1798/9. This George probably died Worksop RD, S-1846, 15-525. They were still living with their mother in 1851. No baptisms in IGI for them or George Junior.
