  Notes	The Annie Calow who married James Limbert is assumed to be the daughter of James Calow even though the marriage certificate says that her father was William Calow, labourer. According to the censuses she was born in Manchester but no William Calow is known in Manchester. Because her father died when she was 3 or 4 she may have been uncertain about who he was, hence invented details on the marriage certificate. The age given is correct. No other Annie Calow birth was registered at the same time. Births searched to 1920.

  Possible marriage, Ashton, S-1939 to Dunn. In 1923 Benjamin Limbert, labourer, left Liverpool for New York. In 1926, a Benjamin Limbert, a turner, born 1897, arrived at Liverpool from Montreal. His father, a borer, also arrived.
