  Extract from the Derbyshire Times 11/06/1998:- 'Mrs Dora Milner of Park View, Clowne, has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital aged 84. A lifelong resident of the district, she was born in Clowne. A widow, she worked as a school teacher at Clowne Junior Boys School, and latterly as a stewardess of Clowne Liberal Club before retirement. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, gardening, baking and attended Salvation Army concerts in Clowne. Cremation and service have taken place at Chesterfield.'
