This perhaps explains why she was not at home in 1871(census) and 1874 (Husband's death) since it says that she had been in trouble before.
In the 1881 census she was in prison at Woking.
She is down as a widow which she would have been then. Her age is wrong.
She would have served 10 years by 1888
Her death certificate indicates that she died on 14/01/1888. She was living at 18 Bombay Street, Salford (Greengate Area). Her age is given as 58 years and she is down as:
the widow of Christopher Brack a machine fitter. Her son Christopher is down as the informant and present at death.
She died of Chronic Bronchitis Anasarca (fluid on the legs).
In July 1867 she was in Salford New Bailey Prison, convicted of being drunk and disorderly at Bury. Her birth details were given as Dublin 1827.
