In 1906 living at Hill House, Framlingham, Suffolk. In 1911 living at The Nook, Fairfield Crescent, Liverpool. Appears to have retired in 1910. In 1915 living at 42 Sefton Street, Southport. Not listed in Crockford's 1920, assumed to have died between 1915 and 1920. Probate index:- 'Rev. Francis Shaw Lester of 42 Sefton Street, Southport, clerk, died 27/02/1919 at the Lunatic Asylum, Lancaster. Administration London, 15/08/1919 to Herbert Graham Lester, solicitor.
