  Graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge 1856. Health failed whilst at Cambridge. Spent greater part of career as vicar of St. Paul's, North Shore, Liverpool from 1868 to 1901. He was the first incumbent at this church. Baptised at St. Leonard's, Shoreditch 28/08/1831 (source IGI).
