  Baptised at Bolsover Parish Church 20/04/1803. Source of death: Grave stone at Bolsover - died 8/9/1884, but age given as 79. In 1873 Joseph and his brother John owned 28 acres of land at Stanfree worth £60 pa (Return of Onwners of Land 1873). His will suggests that he had no living children.
