101 Age given in 1861 census looks like 27 but this is clearly incorrect if he is their son. Even 7 must be incorrect since parents were not marrried until after 11/1855, unless he is the son of an earlier marriage.

103 Age on marriage certificate incorrectly given as 19.
Residence at time of marriage was Oxford Road, Sheffield.

Hunt, Selina (I729)

104 Age on marriage certificate is 25. He probably gave a false age because he was not of full age (19).
An Edward M Doig appears as living in Montreal in Lovell's Province of Quebec Directory for 1871. Could have emigrated as there is no further trace of him or his wife after marriage. No record in the Canada immigration lists.

116 Also known as Esther Paulson.
Judging by her name, Esther Simms Wright, her father could have been her uncle, Charles Simms, the husband of Susannah Wright. In 1881 there was nobody else of the name Simms living in or near Dunston. There was nobody else in the family with the surname Simms. It was common for children born out of wedlock to be have the father's name as a forename. Clearly, being already married, Charles Simms would not have been free to marry Sarah Ann Wright.
